In Deep is a one-hour family drama about a teenage girl, Kristin Biaggio, grappling with her father’s transformation from respected stockbroker to mob-connected porn broker while coping with the usual trials and tribulations of adolescence. With her family life and traditional Catholic upbringing turned upside-down, will she conform to tradition or blaze an unorthodox path? Based on the memoir, The Pornographer’s Daughter, and inspired by the true events surrounding the release and distribution of the infamous pornographic film “Deep Throat,” In Deep explores the issues of free speech, women’s rights, and morality against a backdrop of the massive social movements of the 1970s. At its heart, however, In Deep is an exploration of the bond between father and daughter.
